You know you’re truly an adult when you get excited about household appliances – and I for one am beyong excited to be sharing our latest addition to the family, mr. Zaco! The Zaco v5s Pro is a robot vacuum + mopping system in one nifty, beautiful little creature. I’d been on the hunt for the perfect robot vacuum for a while now, ever since moving into the new home. As you can probably understand, a pup like Lewis tends to shed a lot of hair (and when I say a lot, I really mean A LOT) so vacuuming the living room has always been a daily task, one that I was eagerly looking to delegate to someone else. What to expect when you’re expecting the Zaco V5s Pro?
The Zaco v5s Pro is a robot vacuum cleaner and robot mop which easily acuums low pile carpets and mops all types of hard floors. It comes with a microfiber mop cloth and dispenser tank, a remote control and a docking station. The robot has an auto-recharge function, which means it’ll return back to its docking station to recharge when the battery is low. You can choose between different vacuum options: Edge Cleaning Mode, where the V5sPro sticks to the edges of the walls or the Spot Cleaning Mode, where the robot concentrates on one specific area in a room. We usually leave it on the auto cleaning mode, which means Zaco tackles every inch of your room. There’s no mapping of your space, so it’s best to put Zaco in an area so he can focus on that one particular area, after which we’ll pick him up and put him in the next area or room. When he’s doing his thing, he does so meticulously and thorough, there’s not a dog hair he misses! As far as noise goes, Zaco is actually rather quiet, Lewis doesn’t even get scared of him (which says a lot!). Having this robot vacuum in our home has been the best thing, as I find myself with much more time on my hands to do the things that actually matter. It is so easy to put Zaco in an area and have him clean it, while I can go and do other things. When I leave for a longer dog walk with Lewis, I make sure to turn on Zaco before we go, so that the living room is completely clean and dust-free when we return. It is a luxury having Zaco in the family!
