It’s been a crazy, mad world lately. One in which I find it hard to focus on the good and carry on with daily life. Luckily I’m being forced to; I took some time off to be with friends and family, to talk and heal, but carrying on with work is what really soothes me. I guess we all have our own way of coping.
The shifting season has got me bringing back a beloved and ever so versatile item of mine: the trench coat. At the first Knokke Fashion Weekend two weeks ago I visited the McGregor seaside store to enjoy the atmosphere, watch their catwalk show and browse the collection. I was pleasantly surprised by their spring/summer arrivals, which consisted of lots of pastels, prints and navy. This trench caught my eye and I deemed it perfect to stroll on the beach but also to wear during those first soft spring days. This particular get-up was my uniform for meetings, interviews and coffee with friends.
