I used to wear printed jeans all the time. Like it was my uniform. There even was a time when I thought that the uglier the print was, the cooler the pants. And so now I’m stuck with a pile of ugly print skinny jeans that never get any wear, because 1. they’re ugly and 2. I’m over the printed pant trend. I much rather go for a nice high-rise jean in a classic blue or grey wash. Sometimes though, it seems I get up to my old ways and add a pair of printed pants to the mix. Like I did today! In my defence, this star print is not ugly at all, and I paired it with very simple classic pieces – a black blazer and grey cashmere sweater, making the printed pant look extremely suitable for work. All grown up!
