It’s about time I shared with you these two hair secrets of mine! The first one is Aveda: my current favourite hair care brand. All natural, eco-friendly products that are kind to your locks, nourish them to the fullest and smell divine. The second secret? Mo’Na hair salon. This salon is located in Mechelen, and is totally worth the trip! It was my second visit to Stijn and team, and I was delighted to find out that the salon has been extended with a full spa storey. The lower floor of the centrally located salon has been completely turned into a soothing oasis of peace and quiet.

Get a facial treatment, a dual exfoliation peel (which is Aveda’s plant-based answer to microdermabrasion and chemical peelings), treat yourself to an aroma body polish, aroma body wrap or deep cleansing back treatment, sit back and relax in the infrared cabin or sway away on the divine swinging bed.

I visited the salon for a refreshing hair treatment, and stepped outside with thick, bouncy, healthy hair. My color is lighter than usually, but without being too gold – we opted for a cool color rinse and I got a loose curly brushing. The salon was calm and relaxing, and there’s the cutest doggy walking around the salon, hiding under every apron.

Et voilà, the result! Happy, shiny and blonder locks, all coiffed into a voluminous loose curly do. Love it!
