Aaaand it’s May already! Time is flying by at the speed of light, and I seem to have a hard time slowing down. I feel a little under the weather, less energized and motivated than usual. It may be because I am sick – I’m currently suffering from a stomach flu which is keeping me tied to my bed ughh – but I want to be done with it as soon as possible. I vowed to go to the gym daily come May, but between work, health and life in general, I just can’t stomach actually going to the gym and attending classes. I hope I’ll feel better asap and am thinking of kickstarting my body with a juice cleanse. Any tips or advice on how to beat that no-energy funk?

Anyway, even though the prior paragraph sounds a little dull and negative, I am actually in a good mood and oh so happy for this sunny weekend to commence! Some vitamin C will do me good, and I look forward to spending some time in the fresh air and bright sun! Another thing that makes me happy: my new Spring/Summer wardrobe! I’ve picked up quite a few things already, amongst them is this fabulous floral printed maxi skirt. How gorgeous is this thing? It is my ultimate fave piece right now, and I love the way the skirt flows behind me when I walk. I can even see myself wearing this with a chunky knit in Winter, but for now I am perfectly happy pairing it with airy shirts and thight tops.
