After posting this picture on the left on IG yesterday, I received sooo many messages about the pants I’m wearing. Yes they are hot pink! Yes they are amazing! But they’re also quite the challenge to style them into an everyday look. The bright color, loose fit and flowy fabric make this piece a stunner for evening looks, but I wanted to wear it in a daytime look as well, so enter the oversized boyfriend shirt. An item so versatile, so effortless and so underrated, but one you can always count on to tone down a look in a second!

My oversized pintstripe shirt is from Minimum and I ordered it online here (it’s now on sale!). The bright pink pants are one of my amazing Petite finds, which I stumbled upon on the River Island website. Seriously, 80% of my online activity consists out of searching the best webshops for petite girls. Luckily more and more brands (especially UK ones) are catering to those 1m60 and under, so yay for that! No need to go to your tailor and get hems shortened anymore, so that’s good. Unfortunately the pants are not in stock anymore, or else I would’ve happily shared the link to them here. Keep an eye out on the RI site though!
