It had been a while since I last was in Paris, and since the boyfriend and I were in need of some quality time, we decided to book a little trip to the city d’amour. We hopped on the Thalys on Friday and enjoyed two wonderful days in the French capital, so I decided to embrace the occassion and dress the part!

I had just picked up this gorgeous checkered coat from H&M so I needed to wear it, and of course I had to bring my precious Chanel classic flap bag with me. I knew I would need a few different outfits for the weekend, but since we planned on traveling light, I mostly packed basics + some statement pieces to combine. A must were these striped pants, that can be worn in a comfy way with my Nike Air Max ’95 sneakers but easily transition into a night look by adding a pair of heels.
