Supermodel and personal girl crush of mine, Gigi Hadid, designed her second collection in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. The all-American brand and American (and part Dutch!) supermodel are a match made in heaven, with this California-vibes spring 2017 collection to show for it.

Denim bombers, patchwork jeans, American flag printed dresses and long flowy maxi’s, customized polo shirts and sneakers, … The TommyXGigi capsule collection oozes Californian laid backness, and practically screams for sunny weather, a hippie van and the sounds of the ocean in the background. Turns out the pieces work just as well in a little less exotic surroundings too. I picked up my fave piece at Princess Blue this morning (the collection JUST hit the store today!) and am showing you how I styled it – in a very Tommy kinda way, with denim of course.

A little something about the collection:

The TommyXGigi collection features women’s apparel, footwear and accessories, including watches and sunglasses. The look celebrates Hadid’s unique take on modern style, fused with Hilfiger’s signature “classic American cool” heritage. Inspired by the “Summer of Love”, the TommyXGigi Spring ’17 collaborative capsule puts a West Coast twist on the Tommy Hilfiger brand’s East Coast roots. In a nod to the laidback beach lifestyle, the collection pays homage to California, with badges and patches inspired by the sunshine state. Rugby stripes, denim and relaxed silhouettes celebrate the calm and carefree ambience of California, while signature Tommy Hilfiger red, white and blue feature throughout the collection as an ode to the brand’s heritage.
